It’s been a while since we have seen a remake that truly respects the source material while making all the right updates to be playable in a modern context.
This is the demo version of System Shock, a remake of the 1994 genre defining original, coming summer this year to console and PC. It’s being made by Nightdive Studios, who’s main line of work is taking PC classics and making them run on modern PCs, but System Shock is their first remake.
The demo is available on Steam now.
